Jyotirgamya Sewa Sansthan

It was established in May 2013, in Pushkar and offers free education and training to disabled children and young adults. We welcome all kinds of disabilities: physical or mental, hearing impairment, behavioral/psychological problems. Many of those children are rejected by society in general and even by their families. They are considered useless or cursed, are sometimes left alone in a corner of the house or the yard…
We give them opportunities to come out of their condition and help them reveal their full potential, according to their personal possibilities, limitations, and interests. The aim is to make these kids as self-reliant as possible and to give them opportunities to be a part of the community.
For this purpose, we provide academic teaching, physio and speech therapy, sports, yoga, music, and dance sessions. A midday meal is also served.
Our whole system of education and care is entirely free of cost for the families: transportation in a van from their houses, midday meals, uniforms, therapy.

MISSION

Connecting the mainstream of the society by providing personal vocational training to PwDs (children).To provide opportunities for children interested in education sports music dance. Organizing exhibition and awareness programs under the community-based program in rural, Dhani areas
Periodically benefiting the differently-abled through therapy, therapy, marking, equipment distribution, yoga camps. Giving information about government schemes related to PwDs and making documents related to them. Providing assistance to families of the needy and differently-abled in times of natural calamities, epidemics. Forming groups for women upliftment, training women and linking them to work, providing support material from time to time. To do environmental protection, plantation, tree distribution, etc. Provide information and understanding to parents of children with disabilities to develop their abilities

Our work 1.To provide education, life skills training, and vocational training for people with disabilities, with the aim of making them self sufficient
2.To reach people with disabilities in the surrounding areas and offer them assistance (Community Based Rehabilitation): providing information about the social welfare schemes, providing equipment (wheelchair,…), etc…
3.To conduct programs for women’s empowerment and help them become self-reliant.
4.To provide health-related services via medical camps.
5.To raise social consciousness about disability: in conferences, fairs, camps, and through various mediums.
6.To work for environmental protection, providing information on waste management, planting trees, etc…
7.To fight social evils, provide material help and service in case of natural disasters.
8.To organize Yoga camps, generating physical and mental well-being.
9.To get special needs children to participate in local, district, and state-level sports competitions.
